As you can see, with a desktop version of the same spec. costing around £559 (the Milan) this would probably
cost at least £1000, which, as I'm a student, would be totally out of my price range! But maybe if the spec was
similar to (dare I say!) an Amiga 1200*, which was £400 when released, nowadays a portable equivalent would / should be
around £600, which I would be able to afford. :o)
* - by this I'd mean around a 68020, at around 16Mhz, preferably 8Mb, at least 640 * 480 preferably 256 colours on screen,
at least STE quality sound, MIDI (obviously!), strandard Printer port, 500Mb + HD, 1.44 HD Floppy, Touchpad or Trackball,
and TOS 4.04. Oh, and it needs to be compatible with Calamus, and let me run a text editor such as 1st Word!
